Return Policy

At Mustard Seeds Gems, we stand behind the quality of every gemstone we sell. This Return Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return or exchange a purchase.

Return Eligibility
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your gemstone, provided the following conditions are met:
- The gemstone is in its original, unaltered condition
- The gemstone has not been set, mounted, or modified in any way
- All original packaging, certificates, and documentation are included
- You have your original order confirmation or proof of purchase

How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, providing your order details and reason for return
- Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorisation within 2 business days
- Once authorised, carefully package the gemstone in its original packaging and ship it to the address we provide
- We will inspect the gemstone upon receipt and process your refund
Please do not send returns without first obtaining a Return Authorisation. Unauthorised returns may not be processed.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned gemstone:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect

Exchanges
If you would like to exchange a gemstone for a different one, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Exchanges are subject to availability and any price differences will be communicated before processing. The same return conditions apply for the item being exchanged.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your gemstone arrives damaged or is not as described:
- Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item
- Include photographs clearly showing the damage or discrepancy
- We will arrange a return at no cost to you and provide either a full refund or replacement

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom or specially sourced gemstones ordered to your specifications
- Gemstones that have been set, mounted, or altered
- Items returned after the 14-day return window
- Items returned without a Return Authorisation

Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Return Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If a product has a minor failure, we will repair or replace the product within a reasonable time.
